Hiren Roy vintage full decoration colored penwork
Concert sitar
A very nice
fully decorated sitar, came directly from the Hiren
Roy (Barun Roy) shop where it was overhauled and
fitted with a new bridge and jawari. Was originally
made sometime in the 70's. Has had the original
grommets for the sympathetic strings replaced in the
past and has an upper bridge also. Full decoration
natural top gourd. A beautiful sounding instrument
that has always been regularly maintained in India
by the makers shop. Quite rare to find an instrument
like this, comes with fiberglass cases for the sitar
and top gourd. All sales final on this particular
instrument, no
returns.
