monitored through each stage of production and air
shipped only. While we have access to nearly any
maker in India, we've chosen these few makers
based on predictable superior quality and tone. We
have a long history with each maker and regularly
visit India every year to monitor progress on the
instruments. We go to an extreme degree that
is unmatched by anyone else to guarantee a very
high quality instrument for you!! If in doubt,
give us a call and we'll play them for you,
there's only one other dealer in the west that can
do this so don't put your trust in cheap importers
or dress shops! Sitars are the main reason we're
here....Custom modifications are available from
each maker provided you're willing to wait for it.
Otherwise, in stock instruments will generally
feature half closed jawari in the case of Kharaj
Pancham sitars or closed jawari for Vilayat Khan
style sitars. For detailed information about
