SHIPPING RATES Posted shipping prices are lower 48 US states only!! Shipping charges are added after online ordering depending upon what you order and the quantity. You will not see the shipping charges at checkout as we do the final processing manually on a separate system. This insures that no errors are made due to the wide variety and sizes of instruments & accessories. Below you'll find our standard shipping rates. We try to keep it reasonable and in some cases it actually costs us more to ship than what is posted due to packing. Please email us with any questions prior to ordering, thanks! We do not mark up our shipping rates other than the cost of packing and handling.
SMALL ITEMS (Books, DVD's, CD's, accessories, etc.): $6 for the 1st item and $2 for each additional item. For the US, shipping is done via 1st class mail when possible. Books are sent via media rate. Please note that usually with small items you are not charged past the first $6 but it all depends on size and type of product. If your order has a wooden accessory box it's $12 (US 48 only) and any other items can usually be included. SITARS, SAROD, HANSA VEENA, etc. : $85 per instrument via FedEx ground if west of the Mississippi, $95 East of the Mississippi. The Srishti Sindh model is $95/$105 due to length...48 states only, for Hawaii & Alaska please email us for a quote. Any additional accessories with a sitar order are shipped free. TABLA SETS: $55 per set. 48 states only, for Hawaii & Alaska please email us for a quote. TANPURAS: $65 per instrument. 48 states only, for Hawaii & Alaska please email us for a quote. OTHER INSTRUMENTS: To be determined upon order, we will not charge you until we've sent you a quote. When you order an instrument, any accessories will have no shipping charge as everything can be combined. For US shipments of instruments we use FedEx. For small items we use US mail. CANADA: Usually for small items it's the same shipping rate as the US. If in doubt simply check ahead after your order by emailing us. OVERSEAS: Usually we can send an instrument to our customers in Europe and Asia for the same price as the US if it's being sent directly from India. South American customers need to contact us first as it's usually more expensive. We use DHL for overseas shipping, in some cases we will use regular air mail depending on your country. We cannot use regular air mail for sitars and instruments to Italy, Spain, or France. |
