From start to finish our harmoniums are handled with the utmost care. We will soon be expanding our selection to include a variety of quality harmoniums at different price levels. All feature aged wood and adequate tuning. Please note that Indian tuning is not quite A440 and no matter what you see advertised anywhere we've never seen one that wasn't at least a 1 or 2 cents sharp. In ensemble settings in Indian Classical or bhajans, etc. the string instruments and tabla are usually tuned to the harmonium.

Our harmoniums are air shipped only, this minimizes any chance of corrosion and everything is thoroughly checked here, we have years of experience with free reed instruments and can assist you with your reed problems should they occur. Humidifiers are recommended in dry environments.

We are carrying very good harmoniums now, the first ones are in and more to come. We have years of experience with free reed instruments of all types and full setup is included. You can find Surokar harmoniums here, and Srishti harmoniums here. Our harmoniums are limited in quantity and all are made to professional standards and tuning without exception. We never container ship our instruments, fiberglass cases are available as well. In addition, our packing is meticulous and all instruments are handled with great care. Please consider this when comparing our harmoniums as many in the West are container shipped and poorly tuned.

We've got a team together of harmonium craftsmen in Kolkata with 4 generations of experience to make us some great instruments. Fully working and in tune which is a big problems with imported instruments, Our models feature Premier reeds for the male/female and Samrat reeds for the bass octaves. Our regular scale changer design is more simple, not overstated. Customization is available with German reeds, etc. Contact us for more details please. Our first models are here and have exceeded expectations with a quality equal to the Surokars which seem to have been unavailable for the past 2 years (we're still trying!). We're able to work with you on customization within reason.

Comes with vinyl/fabric cover to protect the instrument. This is the version of the above harmonium without the scale changer mechanism. Please note this particular instrument does not include an ocatave coupler.

Came across these while looking for an alternative or addition to the kirtan/bhajan harmoniums. Looking for a good first harmonium and on a budget? These are a basic 2 reed bank harmonium with 5 stops, one of which opens the upper reed bank. No coupler. Has 3 drones that you access from under the grill. Holds air well, in tune, everything works well and cheap! Has a strap attached permanently if you want to move it easily, could be used standing if keys are facing out and is light enough to do so. Comes with a locally (Kolkata) made tin box.
