Gulab patta (rose) design, this sitar was recently commissioned and features a half closed jawari with synthetic main bridge. We were present during fitting and jawari as you can see from the pictures and please note this instrument (as all of our instruments) has been handled carefully and air shipped. Nice sound and action, their top of the line model. You may notice some similarities to Hiren Roy in the decorations as it appears that the same penwork craftsman does the P & Brothers penwork on their #1 sitar. A good traditionally styled Kolkata sitar properly set up.
