SITAR STRINGS & INDIAN INSTRUMENT STRINGS
|
Sound clips of some of our
instruments.
Clips are video via Youtube taken
with a small HD camera. No enhancements added, it's straight
video/audio of the acoustic sound to give you an idea of the tone
and quality. We used video to show the actual instrument as
its being played. Additional audio clips of most instruments
available for serious inquiries. We're about halfway to the
goal of providing clips for each sitar and surbahar we
carry.
Please allow the page(s) time to load

half open jawari (round or Gol) and feature great sustain
and a bright tone with a thicker traditional construction.

open sympathetic strings with approx. 12mm action at highest
fret. Great for sustain and meend with a bright tone.
