Sound clips of some of our instruments.

Clips are video via Youtube taken with a small HD camera. No enhancements added, it's straight video/audio of the acoustic sound to give you an idea of the tone and quality. We used video to show the actual instrument as its being played. Additional audio clips of most instruments available for serious inquiries. We're about halfway to the goal of providing clips for each sitar and surbahar we carry.

Please allow the page(s) time to load and scroll down to view all clips from our selection.

Mohan Lal Sharma sound samples

Rajesh Sharma is making instruments in the tradition of his father, based in Patna and Varanasi he uses premium bodies and is an expert fitter. He also is an accomplished sitarist which helps him in his craft. Some of the finest sounding sitars you'll find and relatively rare in the West. We get a few per year usually.

Mohan Lal Sharma teak sitar  ~ has a fantastic more open sound and very resonant sympathetics, beautiful munda design with a very low action for a light touch player. One of our favorite instruments here.
