Simple and elegant
Aged premium mahogany (tun) wood. Fully
carved with tasteful bone inlay. Spiral main pegs with plain sympathetics. Modern style tarab string
outlets. Quartersawn tabli and neck. Comes with a fiberglass
hard case included in the price. An original style,
one of the first from Srishti and the most labor
intensive, the JAIPUR is a shop
favorite. This sitar has been
air shipped (as are all of our instruments) to
preserve its quality. Current in stock model has 13 3/4 inch
tabli, quartersawn neck and tabli with soft
sympathetic response and 1/2 open jawari. Very nice
