 BASHIR SITAR ~ BM SITARMAKER SITARS Sometimes the best makers are underrated. Bashir has made sitar for Shahid Parvez and others. We personally feel he's the best maker of Miraj style sitars currently based on our experience. The reason is the quality. He doesn't mass produce or put his label on cheap instruments, the wood is thicker and a happy medium between the ultra thin sitar usually found in Miraj and the thicker Calcutta style. We will be getting about 2 per month. Pictures in this case say it all and they sound as good as they look, I can definitely say it's a pleasure to see someone who knows what he's doing consistently.
