Originally imported and sold by us, this nice instrument made its way back!

This sitar has a lower action height with an original antler bridge. This model, the Grand Pro tun, back then was quite elaborate with nice touches like a deeper arch under the badge and penwork in the upper gourd soundhole, etc. A little wear in spots but in very good condition as shown.

The structure was made from well seasoned tun (mahogany) wood by Halder in Kolkata who makes the professional level bodies for various makers. Jawari is open, good sympathetic response and sustain. Has a 14 inch tabli width and traditional style sympathetic grommets with custom inlaid pegs. Comes with an extra fitted replica bridge set made here. Jawari can be done to your preference if desired. This sitar sat in storage most of its life, wood nicely seasoned due to age, waiting for someone to play it and fully setup!

Includes original Rikhiram black fiberglass case and case for top gourd and accessories.
