Standard fixed cabinet traditional harmoniums as used in Indian Classical music in a variety of styles. Standard cabinets offer easier maintenance, great tone and sustain.

A good harmonium is hard to find. Even well known brands can vary in quality as often they are subcontracted to various shops to make. We have years of experience with free reed instruments of all types and full setup is included. Currently our main offering is SWARANJALI harmoniums with the occassional DMS or Bina harmoniums as well as scale changers in Kolkata. Our harmoniums are limited in quantity and all are made to professional standards and tuning without exception. In addition, our packing is meticulous and all instruments are handled with great care. A440 tuning or equal tuning is complimentary always. All harmoniums need tuning and adjustment when they arrive from India, I take the hassle out of it as well as travel to India regularly and have a good working relationship with most makers.

Model 108 ~ temple kirtan portable harmonium

Rarely seen but sometimes requested, the Swaranjali 108 is the simplest harmonium made. No stops or drones . Having had others here from other makers for repair I ordered a batch of these with a few adjustments like larger keyboard and a little larger box for air. These are sometimes referred to as Shyamdas style or Peti Baaja. Made from kail wood in 2 colors as shown. Includes padded carry bag. Bellows paper styles can vary occasionally.

Model 509MH mini kirtan harmonium

Standard cabinet in Hanuman temple orange color. One only. Very good sustain and perfectly tuned. This model features:

2 3/4 octaves with piano cut keys ~ 32 notes. These are also ordered in F to C which many prefer due to the shorter keyboard rather than C to G.
Dual horizontal reed banks in Bass/Male layout.

Harinam ~ Aindra style kirtan portable harmonium

This style quite hard to find especially with good sustain and even tone. Most are a more triangle shape, I've ordered these slightly squared and they're easier to play in different positions. They are called 'Calendar' harmoniums by many in India due to their shape. Popular with kirtan groups, ISKCON, etc. You'll rarely find these in proper tuning to A440.
