Please note this is an archive page only! I've kept the info up for reference for the customers who may have purchased these in the past and want to resell them, etc.

The maker I engaged for Srishti harmoniums has long disappeared despite several attempts to find him wandering the streets of Kolkata looking for him! If it ever changes will of course have more made.

Surokar harmoniums are still being made but he is unable to export any longer although I generally visit them every year for tea and a quick hello. You are most welcome to go to Kolkata and order, there's about a one year waiting time for them.

Paul & Co: These are still being made but I don't import any longer as they're too expensive for what you get. I'll occasionally get a used one to restore, beware of many fakes online and do your homework if you're looking for one.

DMS 18T teak harmonium: Made of teak wood this harmonium had been carried by us at Sitars Etc. for years. Fixed scale, 2 reed banks Bass/Male. With coupler and side-fold bellows. Comes with padded gig bag. We are a full service harmonium dealer, each one leaves here in good working order. Equal or A-440 tuning is complimentary. DMS 24A portable harmonium

The DMS version of the Bina 23b harmonium. Kail wood, 3 1/4 octaves with coupler. 3 1/4 octaves with bass/male reeds and 3 stops/ 3 drones. Comes with padded bag. Comes with a nice padded bag. This is one of DMS finest instruments, limited edition and only a few made at a time by their top craftsman. Made of Kail wood, 2.75 octaves with coupler. 3 stops and 1 drone. We've got a team together of harmonium craftsmen in Kolkata with 4 generations of experience to make us some great instruments. Fully working and in tune which is a big problems with imported instruments, Our models feature Premier reeds for the male/female and Samrat reeds for the bass octaves. Our regular scale changer design is more simple, not overstated.

Srishti harmoniums are all air shipped without exception from India.

After 2 years of work we've assembled the right people to make a harmonium which is equal or close to the Surokar harmonium. Collapsible standard harmonium with 3 reed banks concert harmonium in popular bass/male/female reed setup. This style found in Paul & Co. and others. Palitana Premier reeds except for the bass which are Samrat reeds. A442 tuning. Well tuned and balanced. 9 stops which includes 5 drones. 7 fold bellows. Comes with vinyl/fabric cover to protect the instrument. This is the version of the above harmonium without the scale changer mechanism. Please note this particular instrument does not include an ocatave coupler.

Refurbished Paul & Co. 9 scale changer

A recent discovery in the instrument room, this original Paul & Co. came to us back in 2009. Not real pretty polish on the outside but has been gone through and tuned and is priced to sell! comes with outer bag. 9 scale lever with 11 stops. Bass/Male/Female reed setup with coupler. Holds air well, big sound! We pack very well on the inside and out, here's your chance to own a Paul & Co. at less than what it would cost you to get from India. They've gotten much too expensive in India and we stopped importing them a few years back due to lack of demand, 1 only here!

HARMONIUM.

Their top of the line model! 5 drones, Ab,Bb,Db,Eb,F , all the tone options and coupler. Collapsible and has been air shipped to us (as all our instruments are). I hate to use the word 'perfect' but well it almost is......has a fabric case cover and comes with an additional MMC fiberglass case with wheels included. Traditional style Surokar (non-scale changer ~ fixed tuning)

Sold out, unable to get anymore. They are virtually impossible to obtain even with local attempts so we have given up! Try the Srishti which are equal in quality!
