Standard fixed cabinet traditional harmoniums as used in Indian Classical music. These are made in New Delhi and have modified reed banks in various setups as seen in DS Ramsingh harmoniums made in the last century. Standard cabinets offer easier maintenance, great tone and sustain. The models listed below are one only, we will be trying various designs and layouts in the future.

A good harmonium is hard to find. Even well known brands can vary in quality as often they are subcontracted to various shops to make. We have years of experience with free reed instruments of all types and full setup is included. Currently our main offering is SWARANJALI harmoniums with the occassional DMS or Bina harmoniums as well as scale changers in Kolkata. Our harmoniums are limited in quantity and all are made to professional standards and tuning without exception. In addition, our packing is meticulous and all instruments are handled with great care. A440 tuning or equal tuning is complimentary always. All harmoniums need tuning and adjustment when they arrive from India, I take the hassle out of it as well as travel to India regularly and have a good working relationship with most makers.

DS Ramsingh harmoniums were very popular in the last century. I've been fortunate to own a few as well as repair many of them and was always impressed with their tone which has a bit more of a flange type effect, almost accordion-like at times. Recently some "new" DSR harmoniums have appeared but they are Kolkata made and only have the jali cover logo! These instruments here are not intended to be a copy, it took a few years to get right and I've only incorporated what I feel is a great design in reed bank design and left out the chamber baffles and kept the styling of a regular deep cabinet Delhi style harmonium.

SWARANJALI harmoniums are all air shipped without exception from India. They are never container shipped. Please factor this in when comparing to other brands.
