I have played many surbahars; Kanai Lal, Hiren Roy, Hemen, and other....and never kept one. This one stays, need I say more?

Aged mahogany body, he keeps them for months before and after fitting to double check everything. Very balanced sympathetics and an ideal sound at least in our view here. The bodywork by Halder is equally incredible, a top shelf fully professional instrument.

Customized (below pics) tun surbahar by Mohan Lal Sharma: this was bought by a local talented luthier/friend who wanted to have some fun and now listed on consignment. It has all original fitting, unplayed. Surfaces mirror polished with French polishing eliminating most shop rash... All peg tips modified, sympathetics have synthetic gemstones as a tip. The footrest has been decorated and modified with sleeved fittings and easy disconnect for transporting in the case.

Sound is very nice, half open main bridge and very open sympathetics. All natural materials for bridges and hardware. One only in stock.
