Made by Ibrahim Sitarmaker in Miraj, this instrument was owned by a local student of Shahid Parvez until he lost interest and moved overseas. It's approx 3 years old and in very good condition. It's not a common style we usually carry as the artist sells them to his students generally so not much demand. It has a nice tone and response and classic sound for this style with a concert quality action and sound.

6 main strings, 11 sympathetics with post and grommet style phulia. 13 1/2 inch tabli with ebony bridges, brass langot and fully setup here. I will include an extra replica fitted main bridge as well. Comes with the original used fiberglass case and our standard accessories package. Please note the pictures had to be lightened due to the dark color....it's very dark! Polish is nice as well. It's a consignment sale, this type of sitar is selling now for about $2k (with case) via the SPK academy so a good deal as it's sound is seasoned for you already.
