Srishti Calcutta Special Concert Sitar

This came in for some love and on consignment and was like seeing an old friend. White label Srishti from approximately 2006. Solid structure, looks like it was never played much so seasoned by age and waiting for someone to play it!

Mahogany/tun wood, penwork is light green and red and done with a wax application by a craftsman long gone. Has a stepped upper arch/gate with celluloid lining. Ravi Shankar style with hardwood pegs and antler main bridge and langot. Fully fitted and ready to go with great sustain, round jawari. Natural upper gourd is new and made by Mohan Lal for this one. Comes with fiberglass cases, accessories and setup to your specifications.
