aged mahogany (tun) wood with the same
great action and tone as his regular
sitars from India's best maker. Has
natural gourd sides geared tuners on the
main strings and plain sympathetics,
synthetic bridges and a brass langot.The
sitar shown is the actual instrument in
stock and comes
with a fiberglass hard case made
specifically for this size
included in the price. Please note the
hole in the center of the tumba is done
on purpose for sound now by Barun. His
studio sitar is about 2/3 the weight of
a regular instruments and about 2/3 the
volume also, has a sweet tone. Please
note we do not modify the bridges, they
are exactly as from the maker, one of
the benefits of air shipping. You get a
free John Pearse transducer with this
instrument.
