Made from aged mahogany/tun wood. A 13 inch tabli makes this sitar nice to play. The bridges are both ebony, main has double slots for 1st and 2nd string, . Mother of Pearl inlay and modern style grommets. Brass langot for trouble free playing....Nice action, easy to play and a balanced tone and sympathetics  It has an extremely black finish so hard for the pictures to do it justice so they have been lightened. Slight purple tint to the polish.. Suitable for D tuning, solid build with proper thicknesses.
