Deluxe fully decorated Ravi Shankar style
kharajc pancham sitar.
7 main strings and 13 sympathetics with natural
material bridges featuring a 3/4 open jawari. Recent
newer design retains the notched end on the
headstock, they've added carved sympathetic pegs and
use a new type of true celluloid. Hand made upper
nuts are a Miraj specialty. Aged mahogany (tun)
wood, inlaid pegs and a 14 1/4 inch tabli. Comes
with a very nice fiberglass case for sitar and gourd
from Miraj Musicals with thick padding and recessed
locks. The pictures show the design template, each
instrument will vary slightly and be unique.
This sitar has been
air shipped (as are all of our instruments) to
preserve its quality.
