A few concepts here taken from the Srishti Sindh design and the Naeem Floral inlaid sitar.

7 main strings and 13 sympathetics featuring a 3/4 open jawari in the style of Pandit Ravi Shankar. All natural materials for nuts/bridges. Nuts (Meru) are custom hand carved. Main and sympathetic pegs made of Indian ebony.

Aged mahogany was used, it has a 14+ inch tabli and the construction is all Miraj made of course, 2 different types of celluloid utilizing a new type now available.

Fiberglass cases for sitar and top gourd are also Miraj made and very nice with a fitted plush lining. This case made especially for this instrument as it won't fit in standard cases.

This sitar has been air shipped (as are all of our instruments) to preserve its quality. Styles of each will vary slightly, current stock has ebony main pegs and ebony inlaid sympathetics due to the rosewood protection in place.
