From one of the premier instrument makers in Miraj, Waseem is by far the best carver and designer in India. Some may recognize his work as seen by other 'makers' in Miraj, definitely unique and beautiful. This in the Caramel design which is a variation in color based on the Style #1.

Aged tun/mahogany wood, full wooden one piece tumba. natural fittings. Finish is shellac and very thin providing a nice sound. Comes with a McIntyre ST08 internal mount sitar piezo transducer.

Sound is resonant and responsive with 3/4 open jawari. Custom jawari included if you wish depending on how you want to amplify it. With a very nice acoustic tone, Waseems bodies are easy to handle and not too heavy. Secondary and final fitting done here at the edge of the world by yours truly.

I've known Waseem for a very long time and happy to now be offering his instruments. We visit yearly and are in constant touch, the instruments are a nice combination of both of our skills together!

Waseems instruments are each unique so there are no carbon copies although a nearly exact model can be ordered if desired.
