Barun-Hiren Roy Sitar 2014

This sitar was made in 2014 and has been played in a bit and fully fitted again to better than original. Good sustain with  with nice sympathetic response and a bit more open than the instruments before 2014.

Approximately 13.5 inch tabli, gulab patta design in the carvings. Original resin bridge with new jawari. The tone is classic half open with a great sustain. Polish is original and stablilized here with minimum checking and shrinkage under the celluloid. Peg trimming and setup has been done. Jawari a bit more on the open side by Barun, I will set it up however you like.

This sitar comes with fiberglass cases for the sitar and top gourd and the standard accessories package I offer with all instruments. This is a consignment sitar here at the shop, please contact me for a demo and more information!
