Srishti DESIGNER Concert Sitar

We've redesigned and resurrected an older model that was quite popular a few years ago. We've incorporated some of the carvings, inlay and designs of the Srishti Sindh sitar along with the closed bud main pegs. The rest of the instrument is a traditional model although it has the red/green penwork. Aged mahogany wood, natural bridge, 1/2 open jawari and modern grommets for the sympathetic pegs. Carvings on the tabli have a rose with a peacock....An excellent top of the line concert sitar.

This sitar has been air shipped (as are all of our instruments) to preserve its quality.

$1430 + shipping  includes fiberglass case or gigbag (your choice)..

Due again Spring of 2013 or may be custom ordered..      

We strongly recommend a fiberglass case to protect your instrument and discount them heavily if ordered with your sitar to encourage their use.
