Main body made from a solid piece of aged mahogany highly sanded with a lacquered finish. Features natural material for all fittings. Bridges are composite with rosewood sympathetic and chikari pegs and fancy guitar style tuners. Has a built in piezo disc transducer with a sturdy mounted jack. Suitable for D tuning also.....A very interesting design and one of a kind. Comes with a fiberboard case. This sitar has been air shipped (as are all of our instruments) to preserve its quality.
